How to protect a child from a cold in a kindergarten

Every child who gets into a kindergarten is faced with problems that require adaptation. This is expressed very often by colds viral diseases. This is due to an insufficiently formed immune system. When autumn and winter cold, the disease is significantly increased, and parents often wonder how to protect the baby from this. The fact is that viruses have one unusual property: even if the child does not get sick, he can be a bearer of infection. Thus, when children spend time together, the viruses are exchanged. Further, cold epidemics arise in this aggressive environment, since the child has not yet been ill, and his body has not yet developed immunity to these diseases. Sometimes parents, without treating the child to the end, bring him back to the kindergarten and the disease returns. This is the most rude and common mistake of parents, therefore, if the child is still ill, it must be treated until the end. If this is not done, other children can also get sick in the group.

To protect the child from viruses, prevention is needed. From the summer you can gradually temper the baby, making, for example, a contrast shower: you need to start with pens and finish dousing with cold water. The next day, the zone needs to be increased – to capture the legs, and so on until it reaches the whole body. In the summer, children need to eat more fruits and vegetables to stock up with vitamins and strengthen immunity for a whole year. The next important factor is hygiene. Compliance with cleanliness will help the child get sick less in colds. It is necessary to accustom the child more often to wash his hands and face before meals, as well as after walks and games.

Before the kindergarten, the baby can grease his nose with oxolin ointment, which also significantly reduces the risk of incidence of a cold. You can also cut the onion or slices of garlic and place the apartment in different corners. There is another interesting way to combat colds is to make the child a garlic amulet. It is done very simply: you need to take a box from the egg kinder, make two small holes in the upper part (in order to pass the thread), and do several holes in the lower part. Further, garlic is placed inside this box and all this is hung around the child’s neck.

You always need to pay attention to ensuring that the child is dressed in the weather. It should not be worn very warm either, as children are very active, they can sweat and catch a cold. It is necessary that the shoes do not get wet, and the feet are always dry.

Of course, a list of these simple rules will not be able to completely protect your baby from all viral infections, but he will be stronger and get sick much less often.
