Cypriot club “Karmiotissa” announced the appointment of Russian Alexander Kerzhakov as head coach.
The press service of the team presented the specialist in social networks with a video that shows Kerzhakov’s achievements in the status of a football player. At the end of the video, the Russian himself speaks in English: “Hello everyone, I’m ready, let’s do it!”
On February 6, it was reported that Kerzhakov was close to heading Karmiotissa. On the same day, club president Dmitry Punin confirmed that the 40-year-old Russian would be the head coach of his team.
Karmiotissa are 10th in the Cypriot Championship with 23 points from 22 matches.
